You and Fido can sit outside on the pet-friendly sidewalk at the Raven Cafe. Make sure you check in with the bartender before sitting at one of the four outdoor tables. Housed in a historic downtown building, the staff at the Raven Cafe describe the establishment as being like a cross between Hogwarts and Cheers. They're a full-service coffee house and serve an excellent array of espresso drinks, smoothies, and coffee shakes. If you're looking for something a little stronger, they provide an assortment of Michigan-brewed craft beers on tap and craft cocktails. The food menu consists of oven-baked and grilled sandwiches, salads, and nine soups every day.
