Grab one of the two outdoor tables at the pet-friendly BBQ 512. Named for the Austin area code, this spot's menu is small but reflects the Texas bbq tradition. You'll find classics like brisket, sausage, pork ribs, and smoked turkey, but also tandoori chicken. Get your meats as a sandwich or a plate with two sides, including potato salad and pinto beans. Open Monday through Wednesday 11am to 8pm, Thursday though Saturday 11am to 9pm. Closed on Sunday.
