    Tallahatchie Gourmet provides a couple of pet-friendly tables outside. Inspired by the flavors of her native New Orleans, the owner, Angela Mueller, wanted to bring a taste of her home to Mississippi. One of the most popular dishes on the menu is the shrimp and grits, creamy cheese grits topped with sauteed shrimp in a light beurre blanc sauce, bacon, cheese, and green onions. If you're not in the mood for that particular Southern favorite, keep an eye on the daily specials for more classics. Tallahatchie Gourmet is open Monday through Saturday from 11am to 9pm.       Excellent lunch stop!

      Chicken salad pictured is awesome as was the fruit and broccoli served with it. Club sandwich was delicious as well. Service quick and everyone was very pleasant.

      Real Small Town Charm!

      Although the sitting for folks with pets was limited, the staff was very welcoming of our pup and gave him the royal treatment! The other restaurant goers were all also very friendly and welcoming-great food too!
