    Slabtown Cafe and Burgers has twelve dog-friendly tables outside. The interior of the restaurant is decorated with nostalgic memorabilia charting Traverse's history. On the American menu, you'll discover lots of burgers, including the Slabtown Special. This popular double burger is smothered with American cheese, lettuce, grilled onions, and topped with Slabtown Sauce. If you're feeling seriously hungry, you can indulge in a double bypass bag, two double cheeseburgers with ketchup, mustard, pickle, and onion.       Fun place

      dog was accepted without reservation. food was great and place was fun. we will go back often

      Good Food, Pet Friendly

      I saw a reviewer say they were told that the owner preferred no pets but we were told the the patio was “absolutely” pet friendly. The staff was friendly to our dog so maybe they’ve changed their tune....anyway food was good and we had no issues with having a dog with us.

      Not so dog friendly

      When we arrived we went inside to double-check whether we could have our dog on the patio. The response we got, was that the owners would prefer that we didn't, but if the dog was friendly and well behaved she could stay. I don't think I would label this place as "dog friendly" However, the burgers were delicious - so 3 stars still

      Off Main Street Quieter Location!

      Several outdoor picnic tables with umbrellas and trees to provide shade. No problem with dogs, but they don’t provide water. What cost them a star is you have to go with someone else, you order inside (but they bring your food out to you), and dogs can’t go inside. Highly recommend the Slab Burger or the Chicken Tenders. Converted home into restaurant, so quaint but good!
