The White Horse Tavern
Serving the people of America since 1673, the White House Tavern is one of America's oldest restaurants. You and Fido can sit where generations and generations of people have sat before you, on the pet-friendly patio. However, the patio isn't always open, so be sure to call first before venturing there with Fido. The menu is made up of fresh fish, clams, lobsters from Narragansett Bay, and just-picked produce from local Rhode Island farms. If you're joining them for lunch, you can try their vegetarian BLT, made using Maiitake bacon, cloumage, Rose Hill Tomatoes, arugula, and basil pesto. Don't forget to dress for the occasion, a collared shirt is expected for you and the finest collar for your companion.

they advertise that they are dog friendly with an outdoor patio but they don’t even have the patio open. they claimed it was because of staff shortage but they weren’t busy AT ALL and clearly someone could have sat us outside. hospitality?
