Blount Clam Shack is a dog-friendly restaurant with twelve outdoor tables. The Blount family started in the food business in 1880, harvesting and packing oysters and clams from Narragansett Bay. Nowadays, they serve pure, wild-caught fish and shellfish that are sustainably harvested by local suppliers who fish the coast of the North Atlantic. Their signature rolls are a hit with the locals, including the fish Reuben: fried cod loin topped with cheese, coleslaw, and tartar sauce, served on a grilled bun. You may also find their pre-packaged soups at other restaurants across the country. Blount Clam Shack is open every day of the week from 11am to 8pm.
