  Rude staff

  We entered the front of the building, unknowingly, and a woman behind the bar rudely asked us if we had service dog permits to enter. We said that we just wanted to eat out on the back patio. She said the dogs need to leave and we had to go around back. It wasn't so much as what she said, it was how she said it. We left the restaurant without eating and went some place friendlier.

  Great lunch

  Shasta and I went in for lunch today. the hostess was very accommodating. they were quite busy, but got us a seat on the back patio. I had left Shasta in the car while I went to the hostess stand and when our table was ready she met us on the back patio to seat us and bring Shasta a bowl of water. the staff all said hi to Shasta. the food was good too

  Accommodating!

  This restaurant did a great job seating us on their back deck. They gave us fresh water for our dogs & the owner came out and gave us treats too. So kind! The food was good too. ☺️

  Dog friendly indeed! Great food, nice outdoor patio! Happy Hour 3-5! Nice waitress and she brought water for our dog. Check in at front of restaurant…go to back for patio access.

  Very welcoming

  Dogs are welcome on the back deck/patio. You need to walk around the block and enter from the back of the building with your dog. Our server brought our dog her own bowl of water without any prompting from us. That expressed to me that they have dogs there often and set Duffy’s apart from the rest for me. Food and service was very good. We would definitely visit again when we are back in the area.

  Perfect Lunch

  Visited on a rainy afternoon, plenty of cover on the deck. Pizza was very good. Dogs were very welcome. Enter up stairs at back. Highly recommend.

  They are great with dogs. They brought out a bowel of water once we were seated and even handed out treats when we got our bill. Highly recommend

  Awesome Place

  They were so awesome with our dog. You have to sit on the patio area which has a nice view of the lake and is partially covered. When we were seated they brought a bowl of water and a few treats for our dog. When dinner arrived they brought an extra plate for our dog- completely awesome! They treated her like a member of the family and the food was great!

  Dog Friendly and Great Food

  Found this dog friendly place while hungry and driving through Petoskey. After reading a couple past reviews we checked in with hostess in the front of the restaurant at their Lake street entrance and they directed us through “shoppers alley” around the block to come up the back steps to the patio. It was easy to find with large signage for Duffys. There were several tables on the outside deck with plenty of water bowls for the pups. There was 3 other tables with dogs near us. We came during happy hour which runs from 3-6pm mon-Friday. My fiancé and I had draft beer, house Chardonnay, stuffed mushrooms, hot wings and a 3 topping small pizza which all were on special for happy hour. We were hungry and it was delicious! Will definitely be back the next time we are in town!

  Not Nice Hostess

  This app clearly told us to walk around the back to enter the restaurant. We did that because we had our dog with us. I asked for a hostess when we got there. She came to our table and was very rude. She told us that we can’t just come in the back and sit down. We went through the back and politely asked for a hostess. She gave us attitude and told us to go back around and to the front of the restaurant to “check in”. She could of said it a lot nicer, we aren’t from here. Just visiting and following what this app told us to do. We will not be coming back to this restaurant, very rude hostess.

  Very happy Pup!

  We recently visited Duffy’s for lunch and couldn’t have had a better experience. As soon as we sat down our girl was brought a water bow and dog treat to welcome her! The food was very good, the view of the lake was beautiful and our server was helpful and very sweet to our pup!

  This place was a great place for the dog. The back patio was dog friendly. They also offered him a water dish! Good Italian food.

  Very Happy at Duffy's

  Great place to take your pup, even if it's 110 lbs. While we waited for a table, a bowl of water was brought for our dog. Treated like a King. Plus the food was very good for us Pup people.

  Great food!

  Dogs are welcome on the back deck. They will even bring water for Fido. We usually get pizza-Della Donna- and our lab gets the crust. Their spinach dip is served in a bread bowl and some of the best we have had.
