Located in a hundred-year-old Craftsman house in downtown Davis, Village Pizza and Grill serves up award-winning pizzas, plus burgers, sandwiches, pasta, Persian dishes, salads, local wines, and craft beer. Fido is welcome on the large, dog-friendly patio, but must be tied to the railing. Try the Persian special Khoresht Fesenjan Walnut Stew with chicken, pomegranate syrup, and rice, or go for a signature pizza. Don't miss the Crispy Chicken Breast sandwich on ciabatta, and make sure to wash it all down with a pint of craft beer or wine by the glass or bottle!

Great atmosphere and the food is excellent! They have sprinklers to cool you off and they even brought out water for our two dogs. I would highly recommend! It was 108 degrees when we were here but it was bearable with the sprinklers and service!
