The oldest building in Rothsville, The White Swan Restaurant, has four dog-friendly tables outside. Phillip Roth opened Roth's Tavern in 1790 and it was renamed The White Swan in 1940. They serve traditional American fare, including their house specialty, the Wanchese scallop cakes, made with fresh Wanchese scallops and seasoned with their own combination of ingredients.
