East Side King
Starting out as a food truck, East Side King now also has a storefront with a large dog-friendly patio. The cuisine at East Side King is inspired by Japanese street food, and also the Austin aesthetic. The menu is compact and anchored by meshis, a Japanese style rice dish. There are six options including the Katsu Meshi, with panko breaded pork, and the Veggie Meshi, topped with Brussels sprout salad. On the classic side of things, you can order pork buns and Beet Home Fries with Kewpi mayo. Open Monday through Saturday 11am to 10pm, and Sunday 11am to 9pm.
