mcMenamins Rock Creek Tavern
Score a seat on the west facing patio at the rustic pet-friendly Rock Creek Tavern. After a fire in 2002, the tavern was rebuilt using wood from local barns to capture the authenticity of the mid-1800s original. Like the other eateries in the McMenamins family, Rock Creek uses local and regional farms and suppliers in their menu items. Sandwiches and burgers are the majority of the menu, like the Fireside Cranberry Chicken Salad Sandwich and the Take Me to the Moon burger with white cheddar and coffee-bacon jam. Open Sunday through Tuesday 11am until 10pm, Wednesday and Thursday 11am until 11 pm, Friday and Saturday, 11am until 12am.

This restaurant was incredibly accommodating! We arrived while it was raining and because we had our dog had to sit outside. We sat on the patio and the server lit the fire pit for us, brought us blankets, and gladly served us in the rain. Plus, the food
