    Dogs are welcome at four outdoor tables at this Boone restaurant serving Southern cuisine. Proper serves lunch, dinner, and brunch and the menu changes seasonally to take advantage of the best local ingredients. The menus include pimento cheese sandwiches, fried catfish, collard greens, mac and cheese, fried chicken, meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, biscuits, and pulled pork.       Stella Loves Proper

      Had a great experience, Stella our Frenchie and us loved the outdoor seating area and food was great. Must try the collards.

      Nice, casual, very dog friendly

      We enjoyed excellent food - fresh ingredients with fresh herbs and flavorings, nicely prepared. We sat on the patio (four tables). Staff was very friendly, nice to our two terrier mix dogs. Other diners without dogs were also pleasant and friendly toward our pets! Overall, an enjoyable outing.
