Carmel Haifa is a family-owned Mediterranean hole-in-the-wall specializing in sandwiches, kebabs, meat platters, falafel, and baklava. There are only two tables inside, but Fido is welcome on the dog-friendly patio, which seats up to six people. Try one of the Jamileh Specials: a lamb, kufta, or chicken kebab straight off the grill, plus hummus, Marina bread, and salad for just .00. Or opt for a vegetarian choice; the Vegetarian Platter comes with six falafels, Baba Ghanouj, two pita breads, hummus and Mediterranean salad. Carmel Haifa is open from 10:00am to 9:00pm Monday through Saturday, and 10:00am to 7:00pm on Sunday.
