Leslie's the Tavern at Rockingham

Located in a historic two-hundred and eighteen year old building, Leslie's Tavern has five dog-friendly tables adjacent to the building. All of the American fare on the menu is made fresh daily. The chefs limit the items on the regular menu because of the popularity of their daily specials. They specialize in unusual seafood dishes, including the stir-fry gulf shrimp and sea scallops, served with a variety of fresh vegetables, kaffir lime leaf Thai sauce, and jasmine rice. If you're looking for something with a bit more flesh on the bones, you can try their Australian lamb rack, covered in breadcrumbs, fresh herbs, and red wine jus.
