  Dirty, dirty, dirty

  Stopped for lunch during a long travel day. Our first indication that this was not going to be a stellar experience was entering into a very dark and empty place at peak lunch time. But, we had the dog out of the car and in her stroller already so, we stayed. After ordering at the counter, sat at a table and that’s when we saw it — the floor was covered in dog hair, crumbs, and God knows what else!! No wonder they keep it dark in there! Glad our dog was safely in her stroller.
  Don’t stop at The Bulldog.

  Bernard felt like one of us!

  i was surprised to find that Bernard was able to sit inside with us! He received many pets and overall had a great experience. We enjoyed the beer and food as well.

  Perfect after a day of travel

  We stopped in Baton Rouge for the night on a journey, used this app to find a dog friendly place to eat. Bulldog was great, sat outside and enjoyed the wine on tap as well as a yummy dinner! Thank you Bulldog for welcoming us.

  Super Dog Friendly

  Called ahead since it was a cold night and we were told that well behaved dogs could come inside.

  Went for a couple of drinks... they have a great selection of craft beer. They are following CDC guidelines and masks required and seating is spaced out.

  There were 2 other dogs at the bar and we sat at a table. Excellent atmosphere and service was great.

  Great Place To Bring Your Fur baby!

  This place is a gem! After a long day at the dog park me, my boyfriend and some friends decided to check out the bulldog. Not only are our babies allowed inside but the servers LOVED our dogs. She got treats and lots of snuggles. The staff here love dogs and our extremely friendly. One thing I thought was extra cool is that the tables have little hooks so you can have your dogs leash hooked onto something while you eat. We will definitely be returning customers!!!

  Dog friendly

  On the road and hungry with no place in shade to park. Stumbled on this dog friendly gem of a place They even had a bowl of water and doggie biscuit for Magpie!! And the patio great!!

  We have a blast

  Every time we are here we enjoy it. We love the entire bar scene with bar food but way more beers. I can bring my dogs and watch some football.

  Don’t go there to eat

  Love the place because I can bring my dog, but the food is mediocre, cheaply made. You can go and have a good time, just don’t eat, it’s plain bad bar food.
  My husband and I were talking that they would be better off closing the kitchen and using one of the many fancy restaurants around them, use their menu and place to go order from those restaurants. That way they can offer awesome quality food... plus the food at Bulldog was pretty expensive when you compare the quality of it... at least I was able to bring my dog.

  Seemed like a fine place probably a lot of fun when it’s busy or just you and friends / partners. Good selection of beer too! patio was was a bit dirty, cigarette butts everywhere, broken glass, since the patio isn’t smoke free expect people to be smoking. Choose to sit inside with your pup.

  Great cider & food. Nice courtyard but rain let us inside. Staff friendly & courteous. Make your way here, a wagging tail awaits.

  They love dogs here. Very welcoming. Food was good. Service was great.

  The rule is they have to have the dogs outside. But as long as they aren't trouble makers and it's not real busy they are welcome inside

  Patio was dirty and had broken glass all over. Not a good place for dog feet. Service was non-existent at best. Food was terrible. The only thing dog friendly about the Bulldog is its name.

  best place to bring your dogs

  This is my favorite dog friendly place in town. The patio is pretty big and they have fans in the summer, heating lamps in the winter. A few TVs and a mini bar are out there. The staff is very friendly to people and dogs. They bring water and treats for them and give them lots of attention. The pub grub is pretty good and they have an excellent selection of beers on tap.
