Dogs are welcome at four long picnic tables outside of this award-winning BBQ joint that has been featured on TV's Shark Tank. Pork Barrel BBQ serves slow-smoked and dry-rubbed meat doused with Original, Sweet, Mustard, or Carolina-Style barbecue sauce. Menu items include pulled pork, pulled chicken, smoked turkey, and creamy chicken salad. Pork Barrel BBQ is open daily from 11:30am - 12:30am or later.

This place has always been a favorite of mine for BBQ in Alexandria. We recently had lunch here and, after ordering lunch at the counter, sat outside at one of the big picnic tables along with our dog. Easy peasy.
