    Bella's, located in Clayton, NY, is a bistro-style eatery that serves up delicious dishes with a gorgeous view of the St. Lawrence River. Fido is welcome to join you at one of their many pet-friendly outdoor tables while you enjoy your meal. Start off with an order of the Crabcakes served on citronette dressed greens with a dijon horseradish sauce. Next, chow down on the Chicken Pesto Panini with grilled chicken, roasted red peppers, fresh spinach, mozzarella, and basil pesto aioli on a roll, served with your choice of pasta salad or green salad. Or go for the Brick Duck and Malted Muddle - breast and leg of duck served on a bed of Spinach Muddle (spinach, cabbage, dried cherries, and red onions tossed in housemade malted dressing, served with your choice of side (roasted potatoes, coconut sweet potato mash, or veggies.)       Enjoyed the River Views with our pup

      Food was delicious and they welcomed my small Brussels Griffon on the deck, however, no water bowl was offered to him. Glad we always carry a collapsible cup and a water bottle for him. we truly enjoyed the visit and would return.

      wouldn’t bring dog

      Unlike other reviews, I didn’t find Bella’s very welcoming. I was dog sitting a 1 year old lab mix & chose Bella’s because some friends recommended it. The servers & guests kinda seemed annoyed I brought a dog. Unlike other reviews she didn’t get a water dish, even though it was a hot day. The waitress was also very fake nice. I’m not sure how else to describe it but anywhere in Clayton they seem a little stuck up if you’re not local. The food is great & I’d come back, just not with a dog.

      Welcoming staff

      Thanks for an incredible meal and genuine interest by all staff who welcomed us and our pup! We even got the same table we got last weekend when we didn’t bring our 9 month old Chesapeake Bay Retrieve

      Bella’s is great!

      Loved the view, great food and friendly service. If you’re in Clayton NY, with or without fur babies, this is a must stop!!

      Great View/Great Food/Fido friendly!

      Great view! Water bowls provided you walk around the side to the back with views of the waterway. Great food! Delicious!
