  Big Fail - Rude Waitress, Many Overcharges, Not Dog-friendly

  We had a horrible experience here and would not recommend it for a number of reasons - price gouging, uncalled for rudeness, and not being very dog-friendly. A simple breakfast (not particularly good) for two ended up costing $51 due to many expensive upcharges for what should have been simple changes (adding one extra egg to the regular two egg scramble, making the omelette of the day vegetarian by taking out the meat, and subbing in veggie sausage for meat sausage as a side). On top of that, portions were unusually small for a breakfast place. This might have all been forgiven if the waitress had not been so rude and we were able to eat outside here with our dog. We had been excited to find this place on the app. But when I called in to make sure we could eat in their back garden area that I had seen driving by, she said they were not serving there right now. It was a Thursday, brunchtime in warm weather. So, I asked if I could order to-go and eat it there - in their empty back patio on a picnic table. She said she didn’t see why not. But when I came to pick up my order for no reason at all (maybe because I was wearing a mask?), she rolled her eyes at me and whispered to her co-worker under her breath about me.. Then, just after I paid, the waitress rudely asked me: “You aren’t planning to go and eat this outside here are you?” I said, “Yes, I was, we have a d…” “Oh no you’re not!” she snapped back. Wow, Am in shock about how this place managed to fail in so many ways - especially after seeing a number of positive reviews online.

  Great breakfast

  Nice (but cozy) dog-friendly patio. We all really liked our breakfast and would go back. Rockstar waitress was also bussing, food running, and doing dishes.
