    Louie's Cafe is a Baton Rouge institution and a much-adored haven of hashbrowns for weary college students. Open since 1941, Louie's has maintained a classic diner aesthetic and is open twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. The menu features breakfast staples, omelets, waffles, and specialty hashbrowns. They also serve hamburgers, po'boys, and dinner entrees like steak and seafood.       Dog friendly location

      I brought my puppy to sit outside under the covered outdoor seating. We enjoyed the nice weather and the friendly staff. The food was terrific! The staff was very accommodating.

      great patio area and good service!

      We brought our dog to the patio area and ate breakfast! They let us go through the patio gate where we sat in 30° with nice hot breakfast! We ordered alittle extra food for our pup, and it was very nice.
