Cafe Provence

Dogs are welcome at Cafe Provence, where they offer twelve tables for dogs and their owners. If you've ever switched on a TV in the local area, you've probably seen Chef Robert preparing his Chocolate Bombe or other tasty treats. The food he prepares in his cafe should taste ultra-fresh as the meat, cheese, fruit, and vegetables are all gathered from local purveyors in the Vermont area. Many locals rave about the Cafe Provence Seafood Stew, served with scallops, shrimp, mussels, and other available fresh fish on saffron risotto, lobster, and tarragon broth with garlic toast. The restaurant is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30am to 9:00pm and Sunday from 10:30am to 9:00pm. Visit Website

    Doggies welcome and delicious food

The food here is superb. We stopped here for lunch because we were traveling with dogs and they have dog friendly seating outdoors.
The outdoor seating is very comfortable with shade provided by some large umbrellas. Our waitress happily filled the water dish for our dogs.
I wanted to try everything on the menu, but settled for the lobster roll with pommel frites...best fries I've had. The lobster salad and bread it was on were perfection. My husband had the roast beef panini and enjoyed it as well.
Finished with a maple creme Brulee...delish.
This was a lovely lunch...would definitely go back for dinner

    Great Spot

We stopped for lunch on the way home from the vet. A water bowl appeared as we were seated. There is a grassy area right near the outdoor seating which was great when our dog got a little antsy. Great food and very welcoming to our dog.

    Nice Patio And Dog Friendly

Stopped here for a dinner after hiking to and around Silver Lake. They brought the doggies water right away. The food was yummy. (The test is always can they do a fabulous burger. ). They also have hose wine from Provence which was totally tasty. The other folks on the patio were dog-friendly, which is always great.
