Metcalf's Submarine Sandwiches
There are two outdoor tables where you and your pup at the dog-friendly Metcalf's Submarine Sandwiches. Metcalf's has a huge menu of sandwich options with twenty five submarines, plus deli sandwiches and paninis. The Classic Maine Italian is a regional favorite, with ham, cheese, peppers and olive oil. If you are looking for a hot sammie, there's the Hot Pastrami Sub with Swiss or the The Boss, with roast beef, bacon, and blue cheese. Open Monday through Friday 10:30am to 5:30pm, and Saturday 10:30am to 3:00pm. Closed on Sunday.

We stopped in here for sandwiches and asked if we could bring the dogs into the deck. We were told absolutely and given an end slice of turkey for the dogs as a treat. The sandwiches were wonderful which led to a Whoopi pie, some peanut butter cookies and pumpkin chip cookies for the 3 of us. Absolutely so in. Like them on Facebook too!
