Former Firefighter, Jeff Urbas, couldn't have opened a more appropriate franchise restaurant than Firehouse Subs. This pet-friendly restaurant has four tables outside for dogs and their owners. What they believe sets them apart from other sub places is their steamed meat and cheese. This technique, they claim, releases a rush of flavors. One of the most popular sandwiches on offer is the Hook and Ladder Sub, stuffed with Virginia honey ham, smoked turkey breast, and melted Monterey Jack. Firehouse Subs is open from 10am to 10pm.
