  severly disappointed

  since I didn't get a chance to taste the food, I can't rate it. I also cannot rate the service because I didn't get that either.
  I sat for over 20 minutes and was never served or acknowledged. I couldn't be missed, sitting in the open patio with my Dane. Another table of 5 college age kids left before I did, they never got acknowledged. The Dawg House treated me much better.

  Great Option

  Was a great option for us to bring our dogs out to get lunch. Brought them water and were very friendly

  Great food nice patio

  food was really good. turkey melt with fried green beans was excellent. patio is partially covered and lots of people sitting on it. warning: it is a smoking patio and there were people smoking a couple tables down. waitress was super nice and brought our pups water.

  Perfectly Pet-Friendly!

  We travelers appreciate restaurants that open their patios to pets, especially one with a friendly welcoming waitress, good food, and cold, refreshing bar drinks! It was storming outside but we didn’t care sitting on this beautifully land scrapped patio enjoying delicious fare with our dog right with us!

  Perfect Pit Stop

  Traveling from Alabama to Texas with my mom and my doodle. Stopped by Sundown Tavern and had delicious fried green beans and hamburgers on a spacious porch. Downtown area is gorgeous and was nice to walk my dog around.

  Great Food, Great Atmosphere

  We stopped here on a road trip to Texas with our golden retriever. The food was amazing and the outdoor patio was great with plenty of shade and room for our large pup.

  Cool doggy hangout!

  I went to school in Ruston for 4 years and recently returned to visit friends and brought my new pup with me. The waitress was really good about my dog tagging along and even brought out a little Tupperware bowl for her with some water!
