Located along the Rock River in downtown Rockford, Prairie Street Brewing Co. is a dog-friendly spot to grab a handcrafted meal and a local beer. Visitors to the Brewing Co. looking to dine along the river can sit with their canine at one of its outdoor tables. Prairie Street's menu includes dishes such as the Coney Island Dog, Apple BBQ Chicken, Poutine with Mushroom and Swiss, and the Cheesecake of the Week, as well as burgers, tacos, sandwiches, nachos, seafood, steaks, flatbreads, salads, soups, desserts, and more. Frequent visitors to Prairie Street Brewing Co. recommend ordering a pasta dish and the cheese curds and saving room for a Beer Ice Cream Sandwich or a Root Beer Float. The Brewpub is open Monday through Wednesday from 11am to 10pm, Thursday from 11am to 12am, Friday and Saturday from 11am to 2am and Sunday from 11am to 10pm. The Dockside Taproom is open Mondy and Tuesday from 3pm to 12am, Wednesday and Thursday from 11am to 12am, Friday and Saturday from 11am to 2am and Sunday from 11am to 12am.

The location itself is beautiful. Menu has some hometown specials which were good. Unfortunately outside of them letting dogs on the patio there was no water brought out or anything else. Brews were good but also no military discount. Nonetheless, Mileena enjoyed the nice breeze and a chicken breast that I ordered for her.
