    Dog friendly and great tacos

We enjoyed a crazy busy summer lunch at Crux. Lots of dogs and kids and sunshine. Found a tall table and chairs. My little Cavachon tucked under the table. Dog hooks for leashes, bowls and water for the pups. Great tacos for the humans. my beer drinking buddy enjoyed their many beer choices.

    Amazing Dog Area At Crux

huge yard with plenty of space for many dogs to run around. yard is fenced and I do not believe pets need to be leashed once inside.

Most dog friendly brewery in Bend!

We are sitting here at Crux in Bend with our dog outside at a picnic bench. There is a big outdoor space to play with your pooch. Crux is secluded and away from the downtown bustle. There are dog bags available at the brewery. There are also leash hooks available to station your dog while you go get a delicious brew. We have been here twice in town. Oregon law is the only thing holding this establishment back from having dogs inside.

Not the dog-friendly place it once was

Several years ago I was at Crux Fermentation Project to join in the dedication of a dog park/play area behind the building. So when I returned on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017, with my two dogs I was excited to have dinner at a dog-friendly spot in dog-friendly Bend. Instead when I approached a staff member at a very busy Crux (they were having a going-away party for a staff member) she told me we should leave our dogs in the car and instead "grab a quick bite inside.'' That wasn't going to happen. Before leaving we noticed that a couple of vehicles had dogs in them, so apparently I wasn't the only to have dogs turned away. Disappointing.
