    Dogs are welcome at outdoor tables on the pier at this walk-up seafood shack. Ivar's Pier 54 Fish Bar serves freshly-caught fried seafood plates and bowls of chowder. Choose a fried plate served with french fries and a choice of Alaskan cod, halibut, salmon, oysters, shrimp, clams, scallops, calamari, or chicken. White clam, red clam, or salmon chowder is available in a bread bowl. Caesar salads topped with either crab or shrimp round out the offerings.       Not what I expected

      This place is deceiving. On their website it shows you a beautiful outdoor seating by the water but this is not pet friendly at all. You will have to buy your food at the outdoor kiosk and sit on the other side of the building. There were seagulls everywhere that you can feed. The problem is that the tables have hard bird poop on that that has caked in and you cant even clean them. On the other hand food is just ok.
