Great food, great service, great wine!
We had a superb meal! We stumbled upon the restaurant when we had car trouble in Eugene. What luck! When we arrived, the owner himself insisted on moving our table out of the hot afternoon sun. They brought water for our dog right away. We had a beautiful wine from the foothills of the Pyrenees. We split an excellent Caesar salad. Then my husband had a baguette sandwich, the Luigi, with roast peppers, artichokes, kalamatas, pesto, cream cheese, parmigiana and arugula with a cream of tomato basil soup. The soup was delicious! The sandwich had a great mix of flavors. I had a one-dish meal called little Italy, with sautéed onions, cherry tomatoes and olives covered with polenta and a burrata. What a fun combination! If we lived here we would eat here a lot!
