A great pub for dogs and people
Alvarado Street Brewery has good beer, fine pub food, and a large back patio beer garden where patrons and the restaurant staff all are happy to meet a friendly dog. Enter the beer garden from Calle Principal to avoid bringing a dog through the restaurant.

Friendly staff!
Went here for lunch with my 2 pups and loved it! Many of the staff came out of their way to greet my dogs and make them feel comfortable. Bought them the puppy patty and the waiter brought out a dog bowl of water making sure my dogs were also accommodated. Would definitely go back next time I’m in Monterey!

Excellent restaurant!
This is one of my top favorite places to go. It is very dog friendly with both a front patio and a beer garden in the back. Amazing food and drinks - especially their beers which they brew on site. They change off and on which always gives something to look forward to.
