    Located in what was once the famed Thunderbird Bookstore in Carmel, Billy Quon's SUR at The Barnyard is a dog-friendly restaurant where Fido is welcome to join you at an outdoor table and will even get to order from the Doggy Menu! While your pup chows down on chicken, salmon or even steak, you'll be treated to SUR's variety of dishes like its famous cheese bread, Chef Herman's chicken and waffles, salmon tacos, shrimp linguine or the Kona Steak Plate.       Amazing dog service and an incredible dog menu. Bottomless water bowls too, woop woop!

      Amazing food

      Sat on the patio, about 6 outdoor tables. The server brought a bowl of ice water for my dog and he had the 1/2 burger from the doggie menu which he loved.
      Several veggie options. Highly recommend the flatbread and eggplant parmigiana.

      Large Patio AND Vegan Offerings

      Very difficult to find a pet friendly restaurant as well as Vegan food for my Wife and I. Not only did Sur allow our FOUR Shih Poo puppies on the outside deck, we enjoyed one of the best Vegan meals out this last year.
      A special Doggie Menu and they all LOVED the Chicken Soup and Burger (possibly because they are on a Vegan diet at home). Highly recommend and we will be back on our next trip to Carmel.

      Great dog place

      We have eaten here with one or two dogs several times. The staff is very accommodating to dogs, brings them fresh ice water, and they even have a dog menu. Food is excellent and they have good cocktails too. Nice location in the Barnyard. Highly recommended!
