Named for the Cornish tin miners of the 1800's, Cousin Jack Pasties is a dog-friendly restaurant serving English teas and foods to Grass Valley locals and tourists alike. Visitors to Cousin Jack Pasties tuckered out from their hunt for gold--or hunt for a plate of fish and chips--can head to one of its two outdoor tables to enjoy a meal while Fido lounges underfoot. Cousin Jack's menu includes pot pies, a variety of pasties, British bangers, salads, soups, saffron buns and scones, and homemade desserts topped with English clotted cream. Cousin Jack Pasties is open Monday through Saturday from 11am to 6pm and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.

Fresh and handmade pasties! We had the Cousin Jack pasty fresh out of the oven. Sit outside on the porch and enjoy the people and pups walking by. Not much seating available on the deck.
