A dog-friendly natural-food restaurant, The Spot is the oldest continuously operated vegetarian restaurant in Los Angeles. Visitors to The Spot wanting to dig into a fat-free, non-dairy, gluten-free or vegan meal alongside Fido can do so at one of its five outdoor tables. The Spot's menu includes appetizers such as Carrots and Tahini or Homemade Bread and Soup, and entrees such as its Red Super Burrito, Spinach Enchilada Special, Savory Presto Pasta, BBQ Tofu Sandwich, Avocado and Cheese Omelet, and the Blue Plate Special, a veggie burger patty topped with sauteed onions, mushrooms, and gravy, served with homemade mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. Diners with room for dessert can indulge in Non-Dairy Vanilla Ice Cream, a Cookie Ala Mode or the dessert of the day. The Spot is open seven days a week from 10am to 10pm.
