    Located in a post and beam building made with hand hewn redwood and joined by wooden pegs, The Peg House is a dog-friendly, award-winning restaurant serving deli dishes to Leggett locals and tourists alike. Dog owners with a hankering for a breakfast burrito can head to one of its many outdoor tables to enjoy alongside their canine companion. The Peg House's menu includes a variety of burgers, salads, sandwiches, hot dogs, bread, BBQ Oysters, and more. Frequent visitors recommend stopping in during the summer for its live music and ordering the Salmon Burger and a glass of fresh squeezed lemonade.       Open area and good food

      Friendly staff, lots of covered seating and room for dogs to stretch out, and good burgers

      Great place to stop along 101. Outdoor patio is great to hang out with your dog, with water bowls and tables to sit with space around. You can order food, drinks and desserts from the grill, including dog dishes and treats, and there is also a convenience store.

      Great Stop!

      The Peg House is deceiving from the road- just looks like a place to stop and pick up ice on your way to the campground, but it is so much more! venture behind the mini market and you will find a full service grill with local produce and beer! Outside patio/garden is beautiful. Water bowls are readily available- we were surprised and so glad we stopped!
