Since 1950, the folk at Loard's have been serving up ice cream. This dog-friendly ice cream parlor on Brookwood Road is home to two tables outside. If you're looking for a cold treat in Orinda, the velvety ice cream flavors on offer include almond joy, mocha chip, chocolate showers, peppermint stick, and peanut butter fudge. In addition to the regular flavors on offer, the seasonal favorites are blueberry cheesecake, egg nog, fresh peach, pistachio, and pumpkin.
