    Good food & dog friendly

Great location in middle of Ybor City. Food is good; homemade sangria is better. Very pup friendly once you get past the chickens!

    Great service and food

We were seated outside and allowed to pick our table, so we could best accommodate our German Shepherd Britta. Our waitress asked about her and brought her a larger bowl of ice water. The food was great. Loved the pulled pork quesadillas, recommended by our waitress. Plenty of room for our big dog to lay down and shady. 👍

    My Dog Loved It!

We had a great time at Gaspar’s Grotto. The patio is pretty big and has tons of shade and fans so it doesn’t get too hot. They bring your fur-baby some water and you can even order them a meal. My sweet dog LOVED the pork and rice. 100% will be back!

    Very Dog Friendly

Cody was an awesome waiter. He brought water for our dog and showed us the doggy dinner on their menu. She loved the food and attention and we had a great time too. Wish other restaurants would cater to dogs that way.

I drove all the way accross town to check out Gaspar's Grotto and I will tell you it was a big dissappointment. The food was below average and greasy. I brought my Dog and I was greeted and invited in with him and he was given a bowl of water but after that I felt like the staff was rather distant and alloof. My dog is very friendly with all people and I felt like we were rushed out. After we left I put the signed copy of my bill in the credit card pouch and left. I walked down the street and after a couple of minutes I was followed and told that I left with the credit card slip. both the watress and a bouncer, I was embarrased and annoyed so I signed my copy for them and left with a very bad impression and I will not return. I own a media production business and I know how important it is for good customer service to receive customer loyalty and this place really needs some training of their employees in the proper way to deal with customers. Again very dissappointed after reading the high regards people on here had but I cannot and will not recommend this place to anyone.

    Gapsar's is VERY DOG Friendly....

Gapsar's offers a sunday brunch so we called up to make sure they were indeed dog friendly - and they said (quite literally), " get yourself and your dog down here to enjoy some good food and live music! ! ! !" The atmosphere was very nice ! ! They asked if we and our pooch would like to INSIDE or outside (which shocked us - in a good way)...We chose outside as it was a pretty nice day...The waitress immediately brought our Choc' Lab a "pail" of water (pirate style) which was quite cold and made us feel most comfortable..... The music was sweet and the food was awesome ! ! 25 bucks for a Sunday Brunch which included 2 items off the menu, UNLIMITED mimosas that you make YOURSELF with a choice of like 5-6 fruit juices, a 3 oz. sidecart of vodka for Bloody Mary's (or any other concoction you'd like to make with it) and the full brunch - hell of deal I say ! ! ! And again, the staff was very nice to have our pooch there and we look forward to visiting Gapsar's on EACH AND EVERY visit to Tampa ! ! ! We went on May 31, 2010. Go to Gapsar's - you will NOT be disappointed ! ! !

    Great Place!

My dog and I come here every first Saturday! Great food fun atmosphere and the staff is incredibly friendly. The picture of the aussie at the bar is of my dog, no idea who posted it but that's great!
