Lindy's Fried Chicken on Crawfordville Highway is a dog-friendly restaurant with four outdoor tables. Ray Salis, the founder of Lindy's, began his chicken empire by serving fried chicken in the back of a bowling alley. Soon, he found that people cared more about his chicken than the bowling, so he decided to expand to his own brick and mortar store and from there, many more stores as popularity continued to grow. One of Lindy's favorites on the menu is the whole fried chicken: two wings, two breasts, two legs, and two thighs. Please note that table service isn't available, so your dog will need to be tied up outside when you go in to order.
