The Downtowner is a local soup and sandwich joint with a few dog-friendly tables available during the summer. Had a great meal at the Downtowner today! Sat on the patio with the dogs and there was plenty of room to tie the dogs to the patio chairs and let them lay down while not being in the way of people walking by.

This restaurant IS open! We stopped in because on the app. Heard they had closed briefly, but now back open with original owners. good food, dog friendly and good prices.
