Newk's Eatery on Beene Boulevard is a dog-friendly restaurant with four outdoor tables. You can bring Fido along with you to indulge in something from the diverse menu. If you're a fan of fresh-tossed salads, artisan pizzas, toasted sandwiches, kettle batch soups, and desserts, then you've picked the right place. Amongst the popular sandwiches on the menu, you'll find a farmer's market sandwich filled with grilled squash, zucchini, portabella mushrooms, caramelized onions, and Gouda cheese, topped with house-made basil mayo', sliced tomatoes, and fresh spinach. All of their sandwiches are served with a side of coleslaw, soup, or mac and cheese. Please note that table service isn't available, so your dog will need to be tied up outside while you go in to order.

Their profile says "dog-friendly" however they said that only service dogs are allowed. Do people in Louisiana not understand what dog-friendly means. Service dogs are allowed everywhere by law when you say dog-friendly it means that people are welcome to bring their family non-working dogs. DUH.
