Hickory Tavern
Hickory Tavern, located in Carrboro, is a casual sports bar-style eatery that serves up a variety of tasty grub. Choose from menu options including appetizers, salads, wings, chicken tenders, steak, seafood, tacos, burgers, sandwiches, and more. Fido is welcome to join you at one of their ten pet-friendly outdoor tables while you enjoy your meal. Start off with a cold beer and an order of the Wings in your choice of sauce (Mild, Medium, Hot, Caribbean Jerk, Teriyaki, Honey Bee Sting, and more.) Next, chow down on the Smokehouse Burger topped with two slices of thick-cut bacon, Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce, shredded jack and cheddar cheeses, and crispy onion straws. Or go for the Grilled Fish Tacos - two soft white corn tortillas filled with blackened whitefish, shredded cabbage, pico de gallo, Cajun remoulade, and fresh cilantro.

They have a dog friendly patio which is open year round. They seem to love receiving four legged visitors (just must use the side entrance onto the patio, so as not to walk through the restaurant of course!)
