    The founders of Mellow Mushroom opened their first restaurant because they saw pizza baking as an art form and wanted to offer other people the chance to enjoy their art. Mellow Mushroom on N McPherson Church Road is home to 30 pet-friendly tables outside, so you can bring Fido with you to enjoy a specialty pie, calzone, hoagie, or salad. One of their most popular pies is the Holy Shiitake Pie, an olive oil and garlic base, shiitake, button, portobello mushrooms, caramelized onions, mozzarella, and Mont Amore, finished with a garlic aioli swirl and a spritz of black truffle oil.       Excellent

      My dog loves coming here. They always are very nice and it is great food for us. The waitress has brought my dog water. Great place!

      Lovely experience

      Passing through NC, we had no idea where to go with our little pom. MM staff was so caring, bringing out a HUGE bucket of ice water, and the chicken breast we ordered for her was unsourced and perfect. The hostess and all wait staff had to stop and say hello to our girl. The food was great too. In Fayetville? Visit the Mushroom!

      Wouldn't bring my pup

      I called a few months ago to make sure I could bring my pup. They said I could but we would have to sit outside the OUTSIDE. They said that one of their waitresses had been bitten so they didn't allow dogs in the main outside area.
