    The Galley Hatch

    The Galley Hatch, located in Hampton, NH, is a casual eatery that serves up a variety of delicious American dishes with an emphasis on fresh seafood. Fido is welcome to join you at one of their five pet-friendly outdoor tables (waitress service is only for the cafe, so if you're ordering from The Galley Hatch, you have to order to-go, then go sit down.) Start off with an order of the Fried Calamari garnished with cherry pepper relish and served with wasabi mayo, jalapeno tartar sauce, and marinara. Next, chow down on the Greek Lamb Burger topped with spinach, red onion, feta cheese, balsamic, and tzatziki. Or go for the Seafood Newburg in a Popover - shrimp, scallops, haddock, and lobster in a sherry lobster sauce, served in a popover.       Pitiful portion!

      I have never given a bad review, but this place deserves one. Staff was friendly, but wow it’s a complete rip off. I’ve been to endless seafood places and in comparison the seafood platter I got here was SO tiny. Hardly enough for one person. Max 10 fries as a side dish and the potato salad was basically 4 big chunks of mealy potatoes. Don’t recommend it at all!

      Great outdoor area

      We brought our 8lb Maltese with us and they very nicely let us eat out on the patio. They have a fairly large outdoor area with tables on the upper level and about 5 or 6 picnic tables with umbrellas at the parking lot level. They only ask that your dog stay below table level. The food was very good and the drinks even better. We definitely will be back!!

      Great Place!!

      we brought our dog out to eat with us at the galley hatch, and we loved their outside patio! it was so nice to bring her with us there!
