In 1919 the world was reveling in post-war freedom and the Kohr brothers were reveling in ice cream. They created a machine to keep their ice cream from melting and the rest is history. Nowadays, at Kohr Brothers Frozen Custard on Washington Street, Fido can join you for a cone of their original recipe ice cream at one of the dog-friendly benches outside. Their flavors include seasonal favorites like pumpkin and cinnamon; and classic flavors like chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. You can fill up a freshly made waffle cone with any of the flavors that take your fancy.
