El Grand Patron is a dog-friendly Mexican restaurant serving Sandusky locals and tourists alike. Dog owners can head to one of El Grand Patron's five outdoor tables to enjoy a plate of Beef and Bean Nachos alongside their furry friend. The Mexican restaurant's menu includes appetizers, quesadillas, salads, soups, burritos, tacos, fajitas, chimichangas, beef, chicken, and seafood dishes, combination meals, and more. Margaritas, daiquiris, wine, beers, and tequila shots are available to wash it all down. Diners with room for dessert can indulge in Churros, Flam, Sopapilla, Fried Ice Cream, Banana Chimichanga, and Sweet Potato Fries served with a side of honey. El Grand Patron is open Monday through Thursday from 11:00am to 9:30pm, Friday and Saturday from 11:00am to 11:00pm and Sunday from 11:00am to 9:00pm.

We drove there specifically because we read it was a dog friendly restaurant on their patio. They informed us that dogs would not be allowed on the patio. So good place to eat, but not if you plan to bring your dog.
