  Awesome 1st doggie brunch for our new pup!

  We took our new 6 month old puppy boy on his 1st brunch outing here! Great outside dog friendly space. The food was AWESOME (hatch chili fries, meatloaf and the BELT). Also brought us a water bowl for our SWEET JUDE! We WILL be back!

  Dog friendly, BUT...

  It has 2 patios. There was an unattended large dog on the front patio (unattended the entire time we were there, we assume it belonged to an employee) that was stalking my little dogs, so we had to sit on the other patio that faces I-35. That patio is large, but is not completely enclosed. If Fido were to suddenly make a break for it, he could end up in the highway in seconds! We were the only ones out there. Restaurant had very few customers inside also, yet our server seemed scattered. She later commented that her other table was driving her "crazy"...Food was pretty bad. I ordered the pulled pork nachos, and they were pretty disgusting. Seemed like they had been sitting for a while, and were drenched in an awful sweet BBQ sauce. I sent it back and had them remade without sauce, but I still did not care for them. My son got the chicken fried steak, and pulled off most of the breading because he wasn't that impressed either. We did get a bowl of water for the dogs, after asking for it twice. Bathroom was far from clean, and another table near us had not been bused the entire time we were there, and was attracting flies. Overall, not an ideal experience. I would not return.
