    The Point

    The Point, located in Fort Worth, TX, is a casual American restaurant that serves up an assortment of tasty eats. Choose from menu options including appetizers, salads, quesadillas, chicken, seafood, steak, pork, burgers, sandwiches, and more. Fido is welcome to join you at one of the pet-friendly outdoor tables available on their patio (pups must be well-behaved.) Start off with an order of the Chili Cheese Fries topped with sour cream, bacon, onions, and jalapenos. Next, chow down on the Fried Catfish - hand-breaded and deep-fried, served with fries, slaw, and hushpuppies. Or go for the Jalapeno Cheeseburger with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, and mustard, served with potato chips.       Great Lakeside Location (good Service, beer and food)

      Arrived with the dog. We were the only folks outside in the pleasant garden area. There is an outdoor wooden bar under cover and good parking. The space overlooks the lake below. The food menu offers good choice. Had the Catfish and Shrimp Combo. 2 sides, of garden salad and sweetcorn which was crisp and fresh tasting. Nice tartare sauce and tomato dip, and blue cheese. The service was friendly. Our server spotted we had a bowl for the dog and it was whisked away and brought back with water. Draft beer included Shiner Bock, which came in a cold glass. No complaints at all.

      They have sand pits with horse shoes to fling if that’s yer game!

      Definitely recommend this comfortable place to bring Fido.

      Beautiful View

      The Point offers a lovely view of Lake Worth. Plenty of shaded outdoor seating, with many tables alongside the yard so the dogs can relax on grass rather than concrete. Janet brought my pupper cold water without ice. I enjoyed the fried catfish plate, apple pie and vanilla ice cream. All of it was delicious! I recommend going early for lunch. I arrived at noon and was one of two tables. By 12:30, the place was packed! I'll be visiting again.
