My husband and I ate lunch here on Saturday, 27APR14. We enjoyed the very ample and delicious selections (plenty of veggie dishes) on the lunch buffet, which was also a good value.
The food was excellent and slightly different than the Indian food we usually eat.
We sat at the sidewalk cafe tables out front (pictured). Service was adequate to good; the waiter appeared periodically to bring our naan and drinks.
Dogs. Out two Maltese sat on the sidewalk next to our chairs. We brought a water bowl from home and I filled it in the restroom inside. The restaurant staff did not mention the dogs ... either to welcome or dismiss them. But many passersby and other restaurant patrons stopped by our table to say hello and pet the little ones. I recommend bringing a blanket in addition to a water bowl, since the sidewalk was a bit dirty (not swept) and dirt stuck to my dogs' fur.
Location: the restaurant is located amidst a pedestrian area/outdoor shopping mall and city park. So after the meal, we took the dogs for a short stroll through this very nice part of town.
Why 4 stars? I would have added a 5th star for a more formal acknowledgement/welcome to the dogs (such as an offer to bring water for them).
I do recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Indian food and especially to anyone who loves Indian food with their dogs! We will definitely eat here again.
