At the Roost, you and Fido can rule it at one of the seven dog-friendly tables outside by the fire pit. This modern bar and restaurant's fare definitely has a Vermont twist. The main menu includes a number of one handers, like a BBQ chicken sandwich, house Applewood smoked chicken thigh, smoked provolone, fried onions, house BBQ sauce, and a Mansfield Breadworks Bun. For dessert, you can satisfy your sweet tooth with an apple pie, brownie sundae, or creme brulee. The Roost is open every day of the week from 12pm to 2am.

We stopped in here with our Berner and saw several other doggos hanging out on the patio on a Saturday night. Nice grassy area with Adirondack chairs if you prefer not to sit at a table. Good spot to get drinks/apps before dinner.
