Brookside Tavern & Smokehouse, located in Valley Cottage, NY, is a casual eatery that serves up a variety of delicious, protein-laden fare. Fido is welcome to join you at one of their ten pet-friendly outdoor tables while you enjoy your meal. (The outdoor seating is weather/season-dependant, so be sure to call ahead!) Try the brisket or pulled pork in your choice of sauce (Kansas Sweet, Chipotle Heat, or Hocus Special) or go for the unique Bourbon Lime Steak Eggrolls with bourbon sauce and cream cheese! Brookside Tavern & Smokehouse is open Monday from 4pm to 10pm, and Tuesday through Sunday from 11am to 10pm.

This tavern has some of the best bbq in Rockland. The patio seating is very clean. It includes picnic tables and a corn hole set! Bowser and I enjoyed hanging out on the patio for several hours. Great spot!
