    Tavern at Towne Lake, located in Woodstock, GA, is a casual eatery that serves up a variety of delicious fare. Start off with a cold beer and an order of the Tavern Nachos topped with tomatoes, jalapenos, queso, jack cheese, lettuce, sour cream, and salsa. Next, chow down on the Grouper Fish Tacos - your choice of sauteed, crispy, or blackened grouper with pineapple slaw and cilantro sour cream. Or go for the Steak Frites - Angus hangar steak with sauteed mushrooms and truffle parmesan fries. Tavern at Towne Lake is open Monday through Saturday from 11am to 9pm, and Sunday from 8am to 3pm.       Ten out of 10!

      Great staff, great music, good food! The friendliness and hospitality everyone showed us as first timers was absolutely amazing, this place is a gem! Would recommend to anyone who has fur babies or not, we brought ours and usually some are a little uneasy when they see our English Bulldog “Jake”.. but there was no hesitation, he was waiting for the attention and they were handing it out! Definitely won us over!

      Thoroughly Recommended

      The service is friendly, in reasonable time, well delivered. And the food is great. And the beers offered were good.

      It was not so busy that we needed to find a place to sit on the largely covered patio.

      Weather was mild and dry. They had heaters in the covered patio area, an open window to the bar for service, took food and drink orders from the balcony.

      I noticed much of the balcony had plastic temporary windows during this fall/winter period.

      Comfortable, with lovely staff and good food. AND biscuits (cookies) for Fido were free.

      Pet Lovers Own Tavern at Towne Lake

      Make no bones about it, everyone at Tavern in Woodstock loves my sweet girl. They brought her fresh water and loved on her so of course she had the best time. Great new deck with outdoor fans and heaters and lots of seating covered and uncovered. We can’t wait to return and post new pics.
