CAVU Brewery and Restaurant, located in La Jolla, CA, is a casual brewpub that serves up a variety of delicious drinks and tasty grub. Fido is welcome to join you at one of their pet-friendly outdoor tables while you enjoy your meal. Start off with a cold beer (of course) and an order of the Brussels Sprouts seared with garlic and bacon, baked, and topped with balsamic glaze. Next, chow down on the CAVU Burger - fresh American wagyu topped with thick applewood-smoked bacon, sauteed mushrooms, pepper jack cheese, and chipotle mayo. Or go for the Drunken Mussels - a half-pound of mussels simmered in CAVU lager, garlic, shallots, and lime juice, served with Spanish chorizo, cherry heirloom tomatoes, and arugula. CAVU is open Tuesday through Wednesday from 3pm to 9pm, Thursday from 11am to 10pm, Friday through Saturday from 11am to 11pm, and Sunday from 11am to 9pm.
