I decided to come here with my pup as it is “dog friendly”. However discovered upon arrival there is no service in the designated pet area. You have to go inside for all of your needs. Which to me defeats dog friendly. If you provide an area for dogs, your should also provide service. I would have definitely ordered some food and more drinks of that was the case. Instead I had one beer and left. They also didn’t have any water bowls for the dogs. Just disappointed.

We got on line and signed up for the waitlist for dinner… they don’t take reservations…we chose 7 pm , and requested a “reminder”, which was sent to us. When we arrived a bit before 7, the very crabby waitress at the hostess stand told us that they didn’t have us listed on their waitlist, and insinuated that we were lying. We showed her our “reminder” message, and she said that it meant nothing to her, and told us she couldn’t help us. It should have been proof that we had, indeed, booked a place on the waitlist. So, we and puppy had to find another dog friendly place to eat in Lake Placid without a reservation. We lucked out and found one. An hour later, this place calls us and tells us our place on the waitlist is ready… umm… too late and not helpful! So, if you get on a waitlist here, don’t bet on them recognizing it!
- GraceMay 29, 2022The patio is very dog friendly!
The patio allowed dogs. However, there were only 3 tables. If you planned on ordering food, you must sit at a table. If you just wanted to grab drinks, you can sit in the chairs they have around. There were 4 dogs on the patio while we were there so just keep in mind in case your pup has a tough time settling with other dogs around.

This patio can get a bit crowded ... especially with other pups, so keep that in mind if your pawsome pal gets skittish or anxious with the presence of other dogs.
The humans are fans of the food & beer. Pro tip: get the Josh's Fire Fish. This brewery is the older (less hipster) brother of Big Slide Brewery and is ALWAYS packed, so be prepared to snag a big red Adirondack chair, grab a beer, and wait for your table. I say that the wait is worth is. 🦴 🦴 🦴 🦴

Right away without me saying anything, our server brought out a water bowl filled with ice for my dog, before we got our drinks! My pup got 5-bone service! Food and beer was all great. We sat outside where dogs are allowed. I would definitely go back with my boy!

Arrived for dinner. Limited menu choices due to Covid I assume. Outdoor seating available which is dog friendly. No water offered for my dog but I carry my own bowl and water for him. Food wasn’t that great. Steak wasn’t cooked as ordered. Service quick but nothing special.

Great outdoor patio for a quick stop for lunch! We quickly sat in their shaded patio and were given a bowl of water for our dog! Staff was very friendly.
- HeatherOct 5, 2019Great option with a dog
Heated outdoor seating! Perfect after a longs day hike! The manager enticed us in and had special dog biscuits made from the left over grains. Also provided water. Deducted one star because the ground was very cold for her to lay down. Pretty good food, too!
